What do I need to get started?
Not much. You can start with as much or as little as you have. At a minimum, all you need to do is fill out a simple form about your business, and I can use that to start crafting the website copy and structure. You do not need to have images ready either — stock images can be used to get the site designed and launched, and these can always be swapped out later if needed. The goal is to make getting started as easy and low-friction as possible, so you do not need to wait until everything is perfectly prepared.
Is copywriting included?
Yes — copywriting is included. You don’t need to figure out what to say or start from a blank page. I guide the structure and craft the content based on your business, so your website clearly communicates what you do and who you’re for. If you’d prefer to write your own content, that’s completely fine too — I’ll still help refine and structure it so it works properly.
How does payment work?
The investment for Website-in-a-Week is a $2000 fixed price. You only need to pay a 50% deposit to book your spot and get started. Then the final 50% will be due on the completion of the website. If you choose to add on the Google SEO set-up ($500), payment will also be split 50/50. You can also pay your total investment upfront and receive a 5% discount.
What platform will the website be built on?
Your website will be built using Framer — a modern platform designed for fast, clean, and professional websites. Compared to other platforms like Squarespace, Wix, or WordPress, it allows for better design flexibility, faster loading speeds, and a smoother overall experience. It also requires less ongoing maintenance, so your website just works without you needing to worry about updates or technical issues. Additionally, Framer has a hosting plan specifically for small websites, which is much more afforable than hosting with other platforms.
Do I need to pay for hosting?
Yes — your website will be hosted through Framer. Most websites only need Framers basic plan which is only $14/month. This is one of the most affordable hosting options around.
What if I want changes?
You’ll have a full review stage where you can request changes before the website goes live, so everything looks right. I will also provide you with website edits training videos, so you can easily edit the text and images yourself after the website is live. No need to reach out to me for small edits.
What if i need more pages or something more custom?
This service is designed to keep things simple, fast, and cost-effective — which is why it focuses on 1–4 pages and a streamlined structure. If you need something with a large amount of pages, a detailed design or specific branding requirements, a custom website would be the best fit for you. Please get in touch to discuss.
What happens after the website is live?
Once your website is live, everything is fully set up and running — you don’t need to worry about maintenance, updates, or security. You’ll also have 30 days of support after launch if you need anything, plus simple video guides so you can make edits yourself if you choose to.
