The Website Re-Design Process
The process is designed to be streamlined and simple, to ensure a quick turn around and eliminate confusion.
Step 1.
If would like to understand what issues are holding your website back, and how it can be improved with a re-design, request a free website audit to get things started. I will review your website and send you a personalised video audit, completely free of charge.
Step 1.
There is no obligation to commit to a re-design following the website audit, but if you are interested in moving ahead with a re-design, then we can organise a time for a call to see if we are a good fit to work together. You get to know me and I learn all about your business, your goals and what you are needing from your website. Then I can provide you with a quote and time estimate for your project.
Step 2.
I plan out how to make your new website an effective tool to solve your challenges and drive your business growth. This involves market research, content strategy and planning the look and feel of the website.
Step 3.
I jump into the design software and build a visual prototype that outlines the structure and layout of your new website. You will get to see the wireframe and make any requests for changes to ensure the site is going in the right direction.
Step 4.
Taking the website structure outlined in the wireframe, and bringing it to life. Adding in the copy, images, colours, animations and decorations to turn the wireframe into a fully functional website! You will be able to review the site and make any final requests for changes, to ensure you are more than happy with the final product.
Step 5.
I make the website live on the internet for the world to see, and handover the keys to you!

Don't worry, after your website is done, I won't disappear on you. For one month after website launch, you will receive a free month of support and updates, to ensure the website launch goes smoothly, and any issues are taken care of.
How long does it take to build a website?
Timelines can vary depending on the scope of your project and how quickly feedback is provided throughout the process. For simple websites, the turnaround can be as quick as 1–2 weeks. For a standard project, it usually takes around 4 weeks from start to finish.

What software do you use to build websites?
I primarily use Framer—a powerful, modern platform that’s great for everything from simple one-pagers to large, feature-rich websites. It also includes affordable built-in hosting, saving you the hassle (and higher costs) of third-party providers. If you prefer Squarespace, I also offer development on that platform—while it has some limitations, I’m more than happy to work with it if it’s your preferred choice.
What if I need updates in the future?
No problem at all. I’m happy to help with any updates or changes you need after the site goes live. Just get in touch and I’ll take care of it—post-launch work is charged at an hourly rate.
